Jessica Woodrow

Ms. Woodrow is an Associate Attorney with the Firm in the litigation and administrative proceedings practice group, handling matters involving all aspects of civil litigation with a primary practice focus on healthcare law. She represents healthcare providers in a wide variety of matters including all phases of state disciplinary (OPMC and OPD) investigations and proceedings, medical staff privileging matters, and resident physician and fellow grievance matters, as well as disputes involving practice dissolutions, restrictive covenant matters, employment and partner buy-outs, insurance plan terminations, and managed care organization audits. Ms. Woodrow holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Hofstra University with a minor in Psychology. She is currently completing a Master of Public Health degree at Hofstra University, with a concentration in Health Economics and Advanced Environmental Health. Before turning to academic pursuits, Ms. Woodrow attended the renowned Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater, the birthplace of the Meisner Technique. A New York Court of Appeals Pro Bono Scholar, Ms. Woodrow spent her last year of law school working as a provisionally admitted attorney for the Mental Hygiene Legal Service, Special Litigation & Appeals Unit, Appellate Division, 2nd Department, before graduating from CUNY School of Law in 2018. Ms. Woodrow is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and the United States District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
