Mr. Giaquinto is a Partner with Kern Augustine, P.C., where he heads the firm’s white collar criminal law section. He focuses his practice on the defense of healthcare professionals in criminal investigations and prosecutions; State Board licensing matters; civil penalty, adverse administrative and credentialing healthcare matters; and Government and Commercial Insurance audits. He is also qualified in New Jersey as a mediator and provides Alternative Dispute Resolution Services. Mr. Giaquinto has successfully defended physicians and ther health care providers in: Federal and State criminal matters; disciplinary actions before the NJ, NY and PA State Medical Boards; DEA Adverse Administrative Actions; Hospital and Military Medical Command Adverse Credentialing Actions; HIPAA Compliance and Law Against Discrimination Investigations; and Medicare and Medicaid Exclusion Actions. He has lectured at numerous health care venues on a wide range of issues including fraud and abuse, professional licensure and discipline, and regulatory issues.
