Court adopts Weiss Zarett legal argument in denying motion

Weiss Zarett’s highly experienced litigation group, which regularly defends and prosecutes cases involving requests for preliminary injunctions, received a favorable decision from the Nassau County Supreme Court, on September 25, 2019. The decision denied the motion by a plaintiff seeking a preliminary injunction to halt the business operations of a Weiss Zarett client. The Court adopted the legal arguments put forward by Michael D. Brofman and Seth A. Nadel, in finding that the plaintiff had not shown a likelihood of success on the merits of the case or that the plaintiff could not be compensated by money damages, in denying the motion.
