Legal Clerk

Summer and Fall Associate Position at Boutique healthcare law firm on Long Island. We are interested in hiring a law student to intern at our law firm this summer and/or Fall (paid position).

Responsibilities will include: Legal research and writing, organizing firm legal research database, direct and hands-on assistance with various litigation and transactional matters, and daily work with senior attorneys. A car is essential.


 

Transactional Attorney

Well known boutique, Long Island Firm with a concentration in health care law is seeking a talented, entrepreneurial attorney to join its transactional/corporate department. At least three years of relevant experience required, including the preparation of transaction documents such as operating agreements, shareholders agreements, asset sale agreements, stock purchase agreements, management agreements and employment agreements. Familiarity with the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, New York corporate practice of medicine doctrine and fee splitting prohibitions important but not required. Competitive salary commensurate with experience, generous incentive compensation arrangements, and comprehensive fringe benefits are available. Well known boutique, Long Island Firm with a concentration in health care law and business law is seeking a talented, entrepreneurial attorney to join its litigation department. 1-3 years of relevant experience required, including the preparation of motion papers, legal research, court appearances. Prior health care and/or business law litigation experience a plus but not required.
